Android 12 Bluetooth Issue

Devices running Android 12 do not currently support Bluetooth beacons.

For users running the SafeSite mobile app on Android 12, this means Bluetooth beacon functionality is unavailable.

Impact

Although Bluetooth beacons are not commonly used, they may be required for certain workflows, including:

  • Tracking assets on site
  • Recording Load and Dump events

If your project relies on Bluetooth beacons, Android 12 devices may not be suitable until support is available.
