Read Messages in the SafeSite Mobile App

Your project administrator can send site notices, messages, and notifications directly to your SafeSite app.

  • Site notices provide ongoing information, such as safety reminders, site changes, or upcoming work.
  • Messages are one-off communications sent to an individual or group of users.
  • Notifications alert you when specific events occur.

When you are sent a message:

  • If you are signed in to SafeSite, it is delivered immediately. If the app is closed or running in the background, you will get a push notification to check the message.
  • If you are not signed in, it is available the next time you sign in.

When you have unread site notices or messages, a red notification dot appears on the Menu icon and beside Messages in the menu.

The notification dot is removed after you read all unread site notices and messages.
