The Virtual Superintendent Issues Report
The Virtual Super issues report provides project teams with the ability to track and resolve the issues that arise each day.
The Virtual Super defines an issue as an action or failure of a SafeSite user which needs to be brought to the project team's attention. In the Virtual Super system, issues are triggered in multiple ways, such as a failed fit for work checklist, a failed machine checklist or speeding.
Navigate to the Issues Report
- Press the Menu button
- Select the Issues page
Your will issues report looks like this:
By default, today's issues will display in the report. To view historical issues, a custom date range can be set on the date picker, found under the menu button.
The following issues will display in an Issues report:
- Fit for work failure
- Plant checklist failure
- Plant not onboarded
- Tailgate inspection failure
- Overloaded machines
- Break violations
Speeding
Note: This is the only issue type that will show the location in the report
- Exit without axle weights
- Combined axle weights overloaded
- GPS not enabled
- User not signed-on to SafeSite
- Weighbridge unknown / not onboarded
- Wrong disposal location
All head contractor Virtual Superintendent users have access to the Issues Report to view-only the issues for their project. A head contractor user with the spoil admin permission is able to edit the issues report, set an issue status.
Spoil Admin manually sets Issue Status / Category
A head contractor with the Virtual Super spoil admin permission can set an issue state, an issue category, and enter comments about the actions taken to resolve the issue. This can be done manually or in bulk from within the report.
Manually set issue status
The spoil admin needs to click on an issue to open a dialog containing the following 2 tabs:
- Details: View the details of the issue, as captured by the Virtual Super
- Status: View or set an issue state, issue category, and enter comments
- Navigate to the Status tab
- In the Issues Status area, press click to edit
- Set the state as opened or closed
- Set the category as actioned or withdrawn
- Enter comments about the issue or the actions taken
- Press save
Bulk set issue status
When there are multiple issues in the report which can be given the same issue state, category and comment, these can be edited in bulk directly from the issues report.
- Tick the selection boxes beside the relevant issues
- Press the edit (pencil) icon at the top of the selection column
- In the green section, use the drop menus to select the relevant state, category then enter a comment
- Press the save icon
Once saved, the changes will display in the report.
Show or Hide columns in Issues Report
Any user can show or hide columns in the report:
- Hover your mouse in the header area of a column, three vertical dots will appear. Click on the three dots.
- Select manage columns
- Toggle the columns on or off, as preferred
