Supervisor registers a new SafeSite user or reregisters existing user in the field

If a subcontractor arrives on site and they have never registered as a SafeSite user, it is important that that they register to allow them to record the work they complete. If the subcontractor is unable to return to the site office, a supervisor with the SafeSite Superuser permission is able to generate a Supplier QR Code in the SafeSite app.

The subcontractor will need to install SafeSite on their smartphone, then scan the Supplier QR Code to register as a SafeSite user for the selected supplier on the project.

Supervisor Generates Supplier QR Code in the SafeSite app

• Select the On-board page in the SafeSite app
• Press the Subcontractor button
• Select the subcontractor's supplier from the grey drop-menu
• Press Next
• The Supplier QR Code will display for the subcontractor to scan as part of the SafeSite registration process.

Subcontractor registers New SafeSite account in the field

• Subcontractor installs the SafeSite app on their smartphone by searching for Cloudscape SafeSite in the relevant app store.
• Open the SafeSite app and scan the Supplier QR Code from the supervisor's phone
• Enter their personal details in the SafeSite Registration page to register as a dockets contractor for the selected supplier on the project

Supervisor Re-Registers an Existing SafeSite user in the field

In the situation where a subcontractor is an existing SafeSite user but has a new phone or has accidentally deleted the app, the supervisor can generate a User Registration QR Code to re-register them in the field.

Re-registering a SafeSite user means that all of their historical data is kept.

• Select the On-board page in the SafeSite app
• Press the Subcontractor button
• Select the subcontractor's supplier from the grey drop-menu
• Press Next
• The Supplier QR Code will display for the subcontractor to scan as part of the SafeSite registration process.
